Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has been honored with Vanguard Newspapers’ prestigious 2025 Energy Innovation and Reform Icon of the Year Award.
This accolade spotlights Nigerians driving real change across sectors. Ojulari’s representative, Executive Vice President of Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe, accepted the award on his behalf during a glittering ceremony in Lagos on Friday, April 25, 2026.

from the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank in Nigeria, Ayodeji Adelagun. She was accompanied by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Andy Odeh, at the ceremony.
