Nigerian influencer Blessing CEO has issued a tearful apology over her explosive stage four cancer claim, insisting she never lied about her real “health issues.”
The drama ignited earlier this year when Blessing shared what appeared to be a medical report and rallied fans for financial support.
But Xinus Medical Diagnostics quickly debunked it, revealing the document was doctored, originally issued to makeup artist and cancer survivor Deborah Mbara back in May 2025.
Mbara spilled the details on how Blessing allegedly got hold of her report, sparking her family’s petition to the EFCC over cyberbullying, forgery, and fraud.
They accused Blessing of pocketing over N300 million under false pretenses, with the Nigerian Cancer Society demanding a full probe.
Returning to Instagram on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, after weeks of silence amid the firestorm, Blessing promised full transparency.
She vowed to post her actual scan and biopsy results, take fans along on her health journey, and refund donors who feel misled.
“I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment, and controversy surrounding my health issues. I sincerely apologise. Going forward, I promise to be transparent with all my medical reports, including my scans and biopsy results,” she said.
“Please be patient with me, as I will take you along on this journey, just like I did during my liposuction and BBL journey. I did not lie about my health issues. I will start by officially uploading my scan results and biopsy details and keep you all informed every step of the way.”
She added that she is willing to refund those uncomfortable with the controversy, asking them to provide proof of payment and their account details.
“Thank you so much for all the love and well wishes. To well-meaning Nigerians who contributed towards my health, I am deeply grateful and do not take your support for granted,” she added.
“To those who feel uncomfortable with the controversies, I am willing to offer refunds. Kindly send a WhatsApp message or DM with your receipt and account details, and you will be refunded.
“Thank you all. Remain blessed. I still ask for your prayers, please ask God to perfect everything that concerns me.”
In another series of posts, she shared a video of herself inside an MRI scan machine, along with images of her swollen hand, saying it has gone through “a lot of suffering.”
“My hands have been through a lot due to repeated punctures while trying to access my veins,” she said.
