Cameroon, Nigeria telecom regulators deepen ties

Cameroon’s Telecommunications Regulatory Board Director General, Philemon Zoo Zame, visited the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) headquarters in Abuja on May 6, 2026, for a benchmarking exercise. 

He met with NCC Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Aminu Maida, as both regulators explored ways to strengthen collaboration and share best practices in telecom regulation.

The visit highlights growing cooperation between the two countries’ communications sectors, with discussions centered on improving regulatory efficiency and supporting industry development.
