The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has extended its heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Victoria Ibanga, publisher of NextEdition, following the death of her husband.
In a condolence letter signed by GOCOP President Mr. Danlami Nmodu, MNI, and General Secretary Mr. Sufuyan Ojeifo, the Guild expressed deep sympathy for Mrs. Ibanga and her family.
A delegation led by GOCOP Deputy President Mr. Olumide Iyanda delivered the letter and visited Mrs. Ibanga at her home on Friday to offer personal support during this difficult time.
The letter read in part: "On behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire membership of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP, we extend our heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your husband.
"We received the sad news with deep sorrow. Please accept our sincere sympathy during this difficult period of grief and loss".
"We pray that the Almighty God will grant you, your children and the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace".
"Please accept, dear colleague, the assurances of our highest regards".
