Super Falcons kick off camp with light session as they prep for Senegal friendly

The Super Falcons held their first training session, yesterday, as they ramp up preparations for Friday’s (June 5) international friendly with Senegal.

All invited players participated in the workout, which focused on fitness, recovery and light tactical drills. Coaches tailored the session to help the squad regain sharpness after players arrived from clubs across Europe and beyond.

Mindful of long-distance travel, the technical staff carefully managed workloads to limit fatigue and jet lag, prioritizing smooth adaptation and peak readiness for the match. The mood in camp was upbeat, with players showing strong commitment and enthusiasm throughout the session.

Coaches used the training to assess the squad and begin implementing tactical plans ahead of Friday’s clash. A final, more intense training session was scheduled for today as preparations enter their final phase.
