Air Peace, West Africa’s largest carrier, has deepened its collaboration with Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways in a new strategic partnership designed to boost international connections for Nigerian travellers.
The alliance will make it simpler for passengers to route through Etihad’s Abu Dhabi hub, offering smoother access to destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and North America.
By leveraging Etihad’s global network, Air Peace aims to expand its international reach and provide passengers with more seamless travel options.
For Air Peace, the partnership is another milestone in its drive to expand beyond the African market by working with some of the world’s leading airlines. It is also expected to offer passengers more travel options, smoother connections and greater convenience.
The Etihad deal comes on the heels of Air Peace’s expanding international alliances, a statement from its management states.
It explains that earlier this year, the airline deepened its interline partnership with Emirates, allowing passengers to book seamless journeys on a single ticket and enjoy through-checked baggage across both carriers’ networks.
Air Peace also has a long-standing interline agreement with Hahn Air, which enables travel agents around the world to issue tickets on the Nigerian carrier through major global reservation systems.
The latest collaboration is expected to further enhance Air Peace’s position as Nigeria’s leading airline and strengthen its ambition of becoming a preferred gateway connecting West Africa with the rest of the world.
