Esther Walson-Jack, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, told a House of Representatives ad hoc committee on Monday, July 2026, that the office space in the Federal Secretariat used by the group known as the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) was officially allocated to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
Walson-Jack made the clarification while appearing before the committee investigating the PFIPC controversy and the N1.3 billion appropriation for the council in the 2026 budget.
Her statement addresses confusion over the council’s presence at the Secretariat and fuels ongoing scrutiny into whether the PFIPC was formally established and properly funded under the Appropriation Act.
