Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has been honoured with the Operational Excellence Award at the Energy Awards 2026 during the 25th anniversary of NOG Energy Week.
The accolade recognises NLNG’s steadfast dedication to safe, reliable and efficient operations that continue to raise the standard for Nigeria’s energy sector.
The award celebrates organisations that deliver exceptional operational performance through process optimisation, heightened reliability, greater efficiency, cost-effectiveness and sustainable business practices.
NLNG’s win underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to keeping operations safe and dependable while driving industry-best practices across the nation.
Presented during the 2026 NOG Energy Week, held from July 5 to 9, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, the recognition came at one of Africa's premier energy gatherings, which brought together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, investors and technology providers to shape the future of Nigeria's energy sector.
A press statement signed by Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku, Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at NLNG, states that the company maintained a strong presence throughout the conference and exhibition, participating in strategic discussions and engaging stakeholders on key industry priorities, including gas development, operational excellence, sustainability, innovation and Nigeria's role in strengthening global energy security.
