President Bola Tinubu has formally filed his All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination form for the 2027 election and confirmed Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
Ibrahim Masari, the president’s special adviser on political affairs, made the announcement on Tinubu’s behalf.
Masari also submitted the nomination documents for both Tinubu and Shettima at a brief ceremony attended by APC leaders at the Continental Hotel in Abuja.
