Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar, will return to London Stadium in 2027 for a third headline performance at the 80,000-capacity venue.
The Afro-fusion star teased the show on Monday, August 3, 2026, with a cryptic Instagram post showing a 60-carat natural VVS diamond necklace celebrating his two prior sold-out nights at the stadium.
He later confirmed the date on X, writing: “So excited for 2027! London Stadium III and much more announcements for y’all.”
Born Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy remains the only African artist to both headline and sell out London Stadium, the venue that serves as home to Premier League side West Ham United.
He first hit the milestone in June 2023 during his Love, Damini tour, then repeated it in June 2024 with the I Told Them tour. A 2027 show would extend his record at the stadium.
London Stadium holds about 60,000 for football matches and can expand to roughly 80,000 for concerts.
The announcement follows Burna Boy’s recent performance at the inaugural FIFA World Cup final halftime show, keeping him firmly in the global spotlight.
The Afro-fusion icon first burst onto the scene with ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album L.I.F.E (2013).
Since breaking out with ‘Like to Party’ in 2012, the singer has become one of Africa’s biggest music exports, releasing several acclaimed projects.
His albums include ‘L.I.F.E’ (2013), ‘On a Spaceship’ (2015), ‘Outside’ (2018), ‘African Giant’ (2019), ‘Twice As Tall‘ (2020), ‘Love, Damini‘ (2022), ‘I Told Them‘ (2023) and ‘No Sign of Weakness’ (2025).
He holds the record for the most Grammy nominations by a Nigerian artiste, with 13 nods, and won Best Global Music Album in 2021 for ‘Twice As Tall’.
