Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will deliver the 7th annual lecture organized by Freedom Online newspaper on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in Ikeja, Lagos.
The session, titled “2027 Elections, Economy, Security and Nigeria’s Future,” will bring together leading public figures to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead of the general elections.
Former Minister of Information Alhaji Lai Mohammed will chair the event, while Senator Gbenga Daniel, former governor of Ogun State and current representative of Ogun East, will serve as Special Guest of Honour.
According to Gabriel Akinadewo, Managing Director/Editor‑in‑Chief of Freedom Online, a host of other prominent Nigerians are expected to attend.
Eze Anaba, President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and Editor of Vanguard, will act as Chief Host for the lecture.
