| The late Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife |
Former Anambra State Governor, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, passed away on December 14, 2023, at the Federal Medical Centre in Abuja.
He was born on November 20, 1938, and served as the governor of Anambra State from January 1992 to November 1993 during the aborted Third Republic.
The announcement of his death was made in a press release signed by Chief Rob Ezeife on behalf of the family.
Dr. Ezeife, also known as 'Okwadike', held several prominent positions, including Federal Permanent Secretary, Political Adviser to the President, and presidential aspirant.
The Ezeife Dynasty of Igbo-Ukwu expressed their sorrow at the passing of their distinguished son and stated that more details about his life and the arrangements for his state burial will be provided later.
