As Easter approaches, Dr. Solomon Arase CFR, former Inspector General of Police and current chairman of the Police Service Commission, advocates for a national revival amidst Nigeria's economic and security crises.
Emphasizing the significance of the season when Christians commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Dr. Arase calls for a collective effort towards a renewed Nigeria.
He encourages Christians to seize this moment to intercede for a transformed nation and to actively support the government's resolute actions in safeguarding lives and properties nationwide.
Dr. Arase underscores the need for sacrificial commitment from Christians as a crucial step towards building a better and more secure Nigeria.
According to the PSC chairman "let's use this time to reflect on what binds us together rather than those things that divide us.”
Dr. Arase also called for patriotism and sacrifice just as Christ sacrificed himself for the redemption of mankind.
He enjoined the staff of the Commission and members of the Nigeria Police Force to rededicate themselves to the service of the country, adding that Nigeria is a blessed country that is gradually regaining its glory.
