NCC receives courtesy visit from Nigeria Computer Society, explores collaboration opportunities

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, represented by the Acting Executive Commissioner, Technical Services, Engr. Abraham Oshadami, welcomed the leadership of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) on a courtesy visit earlier today, May 14, 2024.

The visit, led by the NCS President, Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, FNCS, provided a platform for the Society to share its advocacy work and flagship programmes while seeking collaboration with the Commission.

During the meeting, both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation to further the development of the Nigerian technology sector. 

The NCC chairman, Dr. Aminu Maida, assured the NCS president of the Commission's support and emphasized the importance of stakeholder engagement in the industry.

The visit underscores the NCC's commitment to fostering partnerships and collaborations that drive innovation and growth in Nigeria's telecommunications and technology landscape.
