BREAKING: Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Anambra South representative, dies at 52 in London hotel

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South, has died at the age of 52. 

He passed away in a London hotel, reportedly from cardiac arrest, just days after donating ₦71 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to strengthen its presence in Anambra State.

Ubah, who was re-elected to the Senate under the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and later defected to the APC, was in London for his son's graduation. 

His death has been confirmed by Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu, with tributes pouring in from colleagues

Recall that Uba who was the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil escaped assassination I’m September 2022 when he was attacked by gunmen on his way to Nnewi in Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra State.

His convoy was shot at, and at least five persons, including two policemen, were killed.

He survived as the vehicle he was riding in was bulletproof.
