A passenger plane carrying 62 people has tragically crashed on the outskirts of São Paulo, Brazil, resulting in the death of all aboard.
The aircraft, operated by Voepass, had 58 passengers and four crew members when it went down in Vinhedo on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Eyewitness footage shows the plane's fuselage engulfed in flames.
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva confirmed the fatalities and called for a moment of silence at a public event.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, though reports indicated severe icing warnings in the area at the time.
