In a shocking turn of events at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nigeria's men's 4x400m relay team has been disqualified for stepping on the lane line during their semi-final heat.
The team, consisting of Emmanuel Ojeli, Ezekiel Nathanial, Dubem Amene, and Chidi Okezie, had previously qualified for the final with a season's best time of 2:59.81, finishing second in their heat.
This disqualification means Nigeria will not compete in the final, with South Africa now taking their spot.
