Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has made explosive allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, accusing them of plotting to kill her.

The embattled lawmaker made these claims while addressing her supporters during a rousing homecoming rally on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, who has been at the center of a sexual harassment scandal involving Akpabio, warned that any violence during her visit should be blamed on Akpabio, current Kogi Governor Usman Ododo, and Yahaya Bello.

She expressed her eagerness to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with her constituents but cautioned against potential unrest, stating, “Should we be met with or infiltrated by violence, Nigerians should hold Gov Ododo, Yahaya Bello & SP Godswill Akpabio wholly responsible”.

The allegations come amid a series of controversies surrounding Akpoti-Uduaghan, including her suspension from the Senate over misconduct and her persistent claims of sexual harassment against Akpabio, which he has vehemently denied.

The situation has sparked protests and legal disputes, further intensifying the political drama in Nigeria’s legislative arena.
