In a heartfelt Christmas message, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has extended warm festive greetings and advance New Year wishes to Nigerians at home and abroad, emphasizing renewed hope under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.
Speaking on behalf of the APC National Working Committee, Yilwatda specially felicitated governors, including Progressive Governors’ Forum Chairman Senator Hope Uzodimma, National Assembly leaders, party executives at all levels, and millions of loyal APC members whose dedication bolsters the nation’s democracy.
“Christmas is a season of hope, sacrifice, love, and renewal,” the message stated. “It offers us an opportunity to reflect on our shared humanity and to renew our collective faith in the promise of Nigeria.”
Yilwatda highlighted the APC-led administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a “clear and courageous roadmap” driving economic recovery, institutional reforms, social inclusion, national security, and sustainable development. He acknowledged the challenges of these reforms but stressed their necessity for long-term stability and prosperity.
Reassuring Nigerians of their valued resilience, the chairman affirmed the agenda’s focus on restoring confidence, expanding opportunities, and protecting the vulnerable to forge a shared prosperous future.
He commended APC members for their unity and discipline, urging continued support for progressive governance as the party marks the holidays and eyes the New Year.
The message, signed by Abimbola Tooki, Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Media and Communications Strategy, closes with wishes for a merry Christmas and a peaceful, successful 2026 for all Nigerians.
