Initial checks show a pressure drop on a pipeline operated by NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company (NGIC), indicating a loss of containment. The cause is under investigation.
NNPC stated that emergency response procedures are active, with coordination alongside authorities and community leaders to address impacts. The company prioritizes community safety and environmental protection, it stated in a press release
