BREAKING: Panic grips Federal Secretariat as Head of Service office erupts in flames


Chaos erupted at the Federal Secretariat this morning when a fierce fire broke out in Section C of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, sending workers scrambling for safety.

Eyewitnesses reported spotting the blaze around 8:20 a.m., with social media videos capturing thick black smoke pouring from the building.

Staff hastily evacuated the area after alerting emergency services, as responders rushed to the scene, according to a report of TheCable.

The Office of the Head of Service’s media department confirmed the incident, stating it was confined to Section C.

“Emergency officials are actively working to contain the fire, which is limited to Section C,” the office said in a statement.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown at the time of this report.
