Grammy-nominated sensation Ayra Starr just sent fans into a frenzy by unveiling the July release date for her eagerly awaited third album, Starr Girl.

The 23-year-old powerhouse made the big reveal during a stylish guest spot on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Radiating her trademark confidence, Starr described the project as a game-changing milestone, fueled by personal growth, deliberate creativity, and fierce loyalty to her unique sound.

“My album, ‘Starr Girl’ — that’s me, by the way — drops in July,” she said.

“I am so proud of this body of work. I put everything into it, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”

‘Starr Girl’ follows the success of her previous projects ’19 & Dangerous’ and ‘The Year I Turned 21’.

Born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, the singer skyrocketed to fame in 2021 with her breakout hit “Bloody Samaritan.”

Discovered by music mogul Don Jazzy, she’s signed to Mavin Records and has since conquered the global stage, racking up awards and nominations.

Her crowning moment came at the 2025 MOBO Awards, where she snagged “Best International Act” (making history as the first African woman to win) and “Best African Music Act.”

Starr also earned a 2026 Grammy nod for “Best African Music Performance,” though South Africa’s Tyla took the prize.
