Nigerian influencer Blessing CEO is back on Instagram, but her return comes amid explosive backlash over her debunked stage four breast cancer claims.
The drama ignited earlier this year when Blessing shared a supposed medical report, begging fans for cash donations to fight the disease. But Xinuz Medical Diagnostics fired back, exposing the document as a fake, originally issued to makeup artist Deborah Mbara in May 2025.
Mbara, a real cancer survivor, went public this month, accusing Blessing of stealing and twisting her report for a fraudulent fundraising ploy. Her family escalated it to the EFCC, slamming Blessing with charges of cyberbullying, forgery, and scamming Nigerians out of over N300 million by preying on sympathy.
The Nigerian Cancer Society piled on, calling for a full probe and vowing to push authorities for justice.
Blessing, real name Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, went dark on IG soon after. Now reactivated, her page is scrubbed clean of all cancer-related posts and interviews.
One post, however, remains: a documentary urging women to do proper breast self-exams.
