The mother of 28-year-old musician Oghenemine Ogidi, known as OG Millan, has revealed she lost two sons to alleged police brutality in separate incidents - her second heartbreak unfolding just now in Delta State.
Fresh scrutiny swirls around detained Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nuhu Usman, accused in the fatal shooting of her younger son during an Effurun Area Command operation.
The tearful account surfaced in a viral Facebook video from a condolence visit by former Delta State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant Harrison Gwamnishu and his team.
Breaking down, the grieving mother wailed: “My two children were killed by the police. They took my first son in 2022, and now another one. How do I survive this?”
Police confirmed detaining the officer after the shooting, which they tied to intelligence on a suspect - Mene Ogidi - with a Beretta pistol and ammo.
But a controversial social media video shows the restrained victim begging for his life before gunfire erupts, fueling public outrage.
