Air Peace reported operational disruption after a baggage-screening machine failed at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Domestic Terminal of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The airline said the technical fault significantly slowed baggage screening and loading, forcing some aircraft to remain on the ground and triggering delays to scheduled departures from Abuja. Those delays also cascaded into later flight rotations across its network.
Air Peace said it is working closely with FAAN and other airport authorities to restore normal operations as quickly as possible. The carrier added it is making every effort to limit delays and to ensure safe processing of passengers and luggage.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience, asked passengers for patience and understanding, and promised further updates as the situation develops.
